5G’s Of A  Membership Policy

Terms and Definitions Used:

ACTIVE MEMBER:

Any person who paid their membership dues for the current year.

INACTIVE MEMBER:

     Any person who paid their membership dues in any previous year,

     but has not paid for the current year.

GUEST:

     Any person who was never a member of the league.

Policy:

1.  ACTIVE MEMBER:

  Membership fee is $35 per year and is due prior to the 

  first round of play of the new year.    A one round ‘grace

  period’ will be granted during the first 2 months of the

  new year.   If the member still does not pay his/her 

  membership fee by the time the above ‘grace period’

  expires, they will be considered an INACTIVE MEMBER.

2.  INACTIVE MEMBER:

  Will be allowed to play only 2 times per year, and they

  will participate in the Calloway Flight.   To continue to

  play they will be required to become an ACTIVE MEMBER by

  paying their membership fee.

3.   GUEST:

  Will be allowed to play only 2 times per year, and they  will

  participate in the Calloway Flight.    To continue to play they

  will be required to become an ACTIVE MEMBER by paying

  their membership fee.

4.  MEMBERSHIP FEE:

  Depending on the time of the year that you join the dues options

  are as follows:

  Option 1:  $35 prior to July 1^st  , which covers your membership to

                     the end of the current calendar year.

  Option 2:  $25 if you join on/after July 1st, which covers your

                      membership to the end of the current calendar year.

  Option 3:  If you join the league on/after November 1st you can select

                      option 2) OR you can pay $35 and that will cover your

                      membership thru the end of the NEXT calendar year.

5.   “FINDERS FEE”:

  Any ACTIVE MEMBER who successfully recruits a GUEST to

  pay dues and become an ACTIVE MEMBER will receive a ‘finders fee’

  of $5 in league credit.    NOTE:  If you recruit a GUEST, please

  have him/her provide your name to the treasurer at the

  time they submit their membership fee.   The finder's fee is not

  applicable for players who 'win' their membership in a league event.

  The treasurer will NOT try to determine if a finders fee is due

  whenever someone joins the league.

6.    LEAGUE HANDICAPS:

  Only the handicaps of ACTIVE MEMBERS will be maintained.
